No faux flowers IMO look real get real ones once a week

Lately I've been buying glads, 15 stems for $6.00. They last a good five days. Alstromeiria last longer and are super reasonable.

Avoid faux flowers unless you are beefing out huge arrangements for church or functions.

Go to Michael's and take a look. Most of the greenery will be an odd blue green that looks unnatural- and it gets worse as it gets older. Many of the flowers are very good fakes, so if you just need a few flowers in a vase for (say) staging a vacant house, they can be fine.
