ryan and pulte blew into N atlanta several years ago. i heard many horror stories about both of them. haven't heard either name in a quite awhile but they could still be around here. you'll probably find better quality in older homes than the houses the large companies are throwing up.
hire a home inspector to oversee the project from day one if you decide to build a home with anyone.you want to be sure things are done right and no one is cutting corners. also know once the contract is signed they have no reason to cooperate with you on changes,etc. ask neighbors. do your homework and don't rely on the companies realtors.

We are in NC and do work on homes built by tract builders. The quality is not good, and that would be the nicest thing I could say about them.
