My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Sewing Cabinet

My dad built this sewing cabinet for my mom at least 30 years ago. He had even run wiring and installed an outlet on the side so she could get to it easily. :)

We brought it home and my DH cleaned it up and touched up the finish, then built me the ironing board to fit on top of it. I covered it in several layers of batting and muslin. It's a few inches shorter than my ironing board, but it's all the same width so I can press all the way across 45" wide fabric! It's also a few inches lower, which is nice since I'm short. :)
