Shrub ID please

Would love an ID of this. It's at my neighbors house, and they aren't home to ask.

Perhaps Leptospermum. BUT - there are so many different kinds of shrubs like this grown in California.

It looks like it has seed capsules, if you can show a close up of one of those maybe it will make it possible for somebody here to name the shrub with some certainty. Otherwise you might find labeled examples of same at a nearby garden or nursery.

Over here, we sometimes grow Coleonema pulchellum or Diosma ericoides. They look like small conifers or heathers... Your plant has a Coleonema look about it, often called 'Breath of Heaven'. There is a variety grown in your area called 'Sunset Gold'.

I thought it looked like Coleonema but it's upright and not very wide of a plant, which made me doubt it. If they are in a narrow-ish border (1-1.5feet wide), will the spread be contained???
