I know you didn't ask, but I wonder if you going to put planters or something on the second step from the top so nobody steps down from the porch expecting a full width top step? Will a handrail fill the gap so some clutch like me doesn't take a tumble?

It is grayer than the rest of the facade, but I don't find it problematic. To me, I think it simply references and acts as a continuation of the sidewalk. Also, it's not super far off from the garage door color. I guess the garage door color bridges the gap between the gray porch and the rest of the colors. I think it works and still looks nice.

I'm quite sure you can add color to concrete sealers. If that's the case, then yes, you can adjust the color.
