Our new house

I love the look of this collection of lights from my computer screen. However, could you please tell me about the shade. Is it sturdy and strong or flimsy?
I want to use 2 over my island for pendant lights. It is a focal point in the kitchen as well as from the dining room and family room.

It is a sturdy shade and is a beautiful piece. The structure of the shade is stable and the material between the ribs of the shade is more of a textured hard plastic, rather than a fabric shade that you should be able to wash down with a damp cloth.
