    stays a bit warm for a few more weeks........Wishful thinking!! Eh?\

    Well; if 'a few' means more than two, then why not. I kind of thought last year's freeze was a little late (like into Nov). I am sure that the year before was on ~27th of Oct. Besides, we seem to be having unusually humid weather still, while my 10 years here always had a dramatic drop in second week of Sept. Of course, I don't know that this unusual change indicates early or late freezes, but with presumed warming changes, who knows?
