    Hi. Thank you!

They are the DIY Shaker, with DIY Slab end panels. I do like Shaker end panels, but I did not want them to be as proud (protrude out) as SHM cuts. I had the installer trim them to be flush with the drawer fronts. Cutting the Shaker end panels would have made the frames uneven (or would have to be custom, which was a huge cost difference).

The other difference is I did a bunch of 5" drawers, which IKEA only offers in sets of two stacked. I believe they are the DIY Shaker, but the 5" Shaker drawers come only in slab style, which is what I wanted regardless. The difference there is the DIY Shaker has wood 5" drawers, which I wanted as well.

I had them sent directly to a cabinet painter. They used a professional sprayer with conversion varnish. The color is BM Decorator's White. It took a bit more work, bc I needed to go to the painter and mark where the pulls and handles would go (and take inventory). But I love how it all came out!

I selected to do it this way rather than buy the SHM White for two reasons. 1) I wanted a precise white. 2) I wanted wood. While the DIY Shaker inset panels are not wood, the frames and drawers are all solid.
