I have just bought this pot of lithops. They appear to have white spots on them which does not look normal. Any kind soul could help me identify the problem it has and any solution for it?
hmm. That's not necessarily the fix... These buggers love sunlight! and a lot of it. What they don't appreciate is extreme heat + sunlight. Or sudden heat and light. What probably happened here was that some one watered them in full, hot sun and the water droplets acted like a magnifying glass and burned their skin. You'll actually want to give these guys lots of light, not take it away. If these are your first lithops, you may want to search this forum for how to take care of them. They're pretty picky :)
one more thing - i don't mean you can't put these guys in hot, direct sunlight. You definitely can. You'll need to acclimatize them to those conditions.
