Instagram and Facebook are great places to see pictures of quilts and get patterns and lots of great ideas.

I third it! I have learned so much from the great group of ladies here!

I fourth it :) I have not been on here barely at all in the last year or so as real life has taken over a lot more of my time. I've occasionally had time to flip through the beautiful photos and read some threads. But I can tell you, I have learned almost everything I know about quilting from the wonderful people in this forum. There is so much knowledge and experience here. A wonderful, and welcoming group of people! (and hopefully I will have some photos of my own to show again soon ... I am just now finishing up a wedding quilt, which is quite a job to try and get through my regular sewing machine to quilt, but I'm almost there).

I really wish that Houz wouldn't tinker with the site the way they do, we used to have so many more postings before they took over. I am so aggravated that I have to always sign in to keep that pop up from hijacking my reading all the posts. I have adblocker but it doesn't affect it. And even though I have the keep me signed in box checked, it doesn't work. I probably have something going on in my settings that makes it useless but I have things set that way on purpose - to keep sites from tracking me.

Rita, i had the same problem with having to sign in every time, No matter what the settings. This was last May and probably lasted until mid Sept. Now when I open up, I am already logged in. I don't know how or why but it is now working. I am almost afraid to say that in case the computer gremlins come and get me again. I hope your gremlins decide to be good to you.

I've found, Quilt in a Day, has an excellent forum....Years and years ago, I was on this forum and if and when someone said, something they were sent to Disney or Spike kicked you off...Some of the gals, (at that time) were very rude and I vowed never to post again and went on to Eleanor Burn's site...The gals there are unbelievable, not saying you gals aren't but I feel more at home on the other....I do stop here and check out the lovely work you all have done....This is just my opinion, I'm certainly not taking anything away from this site.......I think quilters are all special people.....
