Frangipani! I can smell them from here Rick, fantastic flowers aren't they? I used to grow them a while ago, my Aunt in Oz gave me some cuttings to bring back and I managed to get some going. They flowered and the smell was so powerful. They were the common variety known as 'Celadine', often planted in graveyards to ward off evil smells, apparently :-/ I also grew several from seeds but they never flowered, all are gone now, but I've been fortunate to see many in our travels in parts of SE Asia along with huge Bizzie palms too. They're ultra tropical and need some of the warmest temps to even grow, let alone thrive. One of the most distinctive Palm varieties there is, and also one of my favourites.
