Today I received my seeds from Wood Prarie in ME. I got aslike clover, peas, and swiss chard. I also go (2) melons that i'll plant in the summer. I turned my compost piles. I visited a fellow gardener and she gave me bags of organic matter (weeds:) for my compost piles. I planted turnips in an empty space. I potted my chrysanthemum since is was much, much more flower than soil? I got some 10' rebar $5.20 each from Lowe's. I will take my roses off the overbearing thick green fence post and replace it with the tall rebar. Yesterday I added worm castings to my hairy vetch and it has sprouted. It was slow to sprout without this addition. I watered my garden for about 30". I received guests in my garden. They asked about my zinnia plant and I gave them a dried flower so they too can have seeds. My purple zinnia elegans is so tall that I had to stake it with a tall rebar. The bottommost flowers snapped, but stayed on enough to continue growing so I have growth at the bottom not just the top. I planted some of the new aslike clover and swiss chard in some 1/2 gallon Geopots.
