No, these are not sheers, they are Luminettes. They are a vertical length blind, the veins open and close both to the right and the left. When open the sheers are in between the veins. They have a top head rail that's about 4.5" wide, and can be motorized.

I like these for a sliding glass door. Would honeycomb shades coordinate with these or would I have to stay with this style while decoratint the other windows in an open floor plan?
