I'm getting a Hanstone Quartz countertop and love many of the "marble" options they offer.

We are getting real marble, honing it, and will learn to love the etches. The only quartz I saw in all of our searching that was remotely convincing was LG Rococco, and to a lesser extent, Minuet.

Don't know about quartz, but if you live in a place where you can see this thin porcelain sheet material and also have access to an experienced installer, this is gorgeous: Stonepeak Plane

It comes in sheets 5' x 10' so no seams on a countertop.

I highly recommend zodiac neve quartz- I have it in our kitchen and love it! I wanted marble until my son wiped his poopy diaper filled bum on the counters and realized I could bleach marble so I went with quartz and so glad I did! I do get asked if it’s marble a lot.

Check out Lumina by Viatera. To me, it looks more like marble than the other quartz. It's a new color so it might be hard to find at this point. I just installed it yesterday! Here is a closeup of the streak that goes through it. Most of the counter is light, with a few small streaks and one large streak running through it. It's very feathered, and not a solid, artificial-looking streak . (sorry about my shadow!)
