To arthurm, jane and shavedmonkey...

Just wanted to take a few minutes to share some thoughts...

I want to start by saying that this forum has proven EXTREMELY helpful, and I personally am thankful to everyone who reliably answers questions here (yes I mean YOU arthurm, jane and shavedmonkey).

Being from a country that doesn't have the absolute necessities like food and shelter figured out yet, you can imagine just how hard it is to pursue hobbies that involve decorative plants! Growing orchids are even harder, and these are the reasons why-

I've searched EVERYWHERE for bark chips and isopropyl alcohol- still on the lookout. All orchids are grown in coco-husk (which I'm starting to abhor), even THEY are hard to find! Ordered products online LAST MONTH. Still no sign. Can't order most products due to import restrictions and/or customs complications. Most orchids found on local stores are diseased. And almost all are either NOID, or wrongly ID-d. The list goes on and on.

I can only hope that novice questions and remarks (even after two years of growing orchids) don't annoy you! This is my goto-site for gathering knowledge about orchids, thanks to you guys!

Best Regards from Bangladesh! :)
