Getting new stainless steel appliances. Finding that the area where we have existing refrigerator may not be deep enough. Thinking of doing some minor carpentry work by building in the stainless refrigerator to where that white door is. We use that area as a pantry but it is deep enough to place refrigerator. Then existing wine rack cabinet can be moved to where the refrigerator is located. Which means the old wine rack cabinet combo could become a pantry.... Need advice on how to make these areas coordinate with my kitchen... Do I make the cabinets/doors /woodwork around the new spot for refrigerator and pantry black? These existing maple cabinets are 16 years old and the stain has aged. There is no way we are removing or painting them! My husband was not happy when I painted the island maple cabinets black..... However he likes now but won't change other cabinets!!! Please help!!!
