Hi Carol, You have a wonderful house that has good bones and just needs some updating and curb appeal. Ideas to consider, DECKS: deleted the lower deck AND the upper deck at the front entry and in front of the bay window. Install a wide brick or paver, impressively designed stairway to the front door and keep it closer to the house and add a small front porch with railing. Add a new deck at the house floor height to the area in front of the doors on the far right hand side of the house. Make the deck as large as you like and add stairs down if needed. Use pavers for the deck surface, lap siding for skirting, painted or stained a darker color and railing. It appears you are contemplating painting the brick a lighter color, great or power wash all the brick. CURB APPEAL: Consider painting the upper bump outs over the patio doors a medium or darker shade to blend in more with the mansard roof. Pick a railing style that works with the style you want for your house. Add landscaping to the area around the front entry and between the front porch and patio deck to the right.
