Modern with Traditional, do these pieces work together? See pics

I ordered the sofa, chaise and table, and I'm still trying to decide on the accent chairs. Do these pieces work together? I found the chairs in West Elm and fell in love with the fabric as it goes well with the color scheme I am going with. But the deciding factor is that they are recliners and if I don't get something for my hubby to recline on, he will make me get one of those ugly big stuffed recliners. The sofa and chaise will be an off white/ivory (non yellow) color. My light fixtures are a champagne color, transitional style. This is a new home. What do you think about these pieces and the color scheme?

I like the recliner. I have a similar style in a different fabric, and it sure looks better than the grandpa chairs! I think your colors and fabrics go well together. Others may disagree. The biggest difference I can see is the legs. Is it possible to refinish the legs of the recliner to match the dark wood of all the others? I like that the legs of the couch are round. I think it keeps things from getting too matchy.

Kathy, thank you for replying. Yes I am definitely going to refinish the legs in the same color as the other pieces of furniture. The chairs are mid century furniture and I wasn't very sure if it looked well with the chaise and the sofa.

Hi Erika, :) I think it all looks great! I may not even change the legs. It's great to mix styles...makes a room more interesting and original, at least to me.

I just checked the swatch against the ones I have been working with and it is too dark! It's too bad because I really like the concept of having two chair/recliners as accent chairs. :(

Aww, :( That's a shame, but don't give up... what you had put together on your own, was quite good. Are there any other options that might work?
