Looking to decorate my casual dining area.

I need ideas for decorating the walls surrounding my table. Also what should I put in the center of the table! I want something colorful!

How about stenciling one or all of the walls? You can use metallic glaze as well as paint. Add a nice pair of drapes, with a decorative rod. I like to use a decorative plate or decorative pieces, instead of candles or flowers, as a center piece. You could add artwork or a mirror, there are tons to choose from at places like Home Goods or Pier One...

Mercy, cgastin, how about a shade for that second sun? Hmmm, artwork, a narrow bar, a coffee station, a dessert trolley, ( I sound hungry, don't I..) a tree,floating shelves, (not all together), curtains for the window, and a partridge in a..no, I already said tree.

Oh, and a bright ceramic vase or bowl on the table. How's that?

Add a floral arrangement in the middle of the table and the best part is, is that they don't have to be real and can look great all the time. I would also suggest a piece of art that brings your colors together:)
