My type 2 clematis continue to put out sporadic blooms until frost. This year 'Rebecca' and some others had a small second blush several weeks ago. Nothing that I would count on each year.

Babs, I keep looking at this post for responses to your inquiry but the forum seems to be pretty slow right now :-) And like you, the type 2's are a minority in my current clematis collection. I also tend to hard prune the 2's as well and DO have a somewhat longer growing season, which makes an accurate listing a bit precarious for your situation. I can say that the reliable rebloomers for me have been good old Nelly Moser, Belle of Woking and a NOID rescue I assume is Ramona.

My only other current type 2 is Miss Bateman and while she is supposed to be a rebloomer, she has never done so for me!! All the rest of my collection - the vast majority - are either type 1's or 3's.
