love art room looks nice. couch is gray correct? is the cover just for comfort? color is common, but neutral so not a problem per se. colors are coming in now.

I don't mind the couch and chair colour at all, would add some pillows in colours from your art at entrance. The large black and white piece really drowns out the piece on the fireplace mantel, so would find something more substantial for fireplace, maybe something different too like a large carving so the shape is different than the art close by. Also wonder how it would look to switch the two large pieces? I think your rug looks fine and think something really patterned would look too busy.

definitely switch the art in entry to living room. The red in the painting would stand out much better on the wall color, than on the red brick. I would also think about papering the back wall behind t.v. for added interest. Add some pillows.
