Just curious on your opinion of King Hickory. I'm about to purchase a sectional from them. Will it hold up with family of 5?

I have been in furniture for 20+ years with both this & another company but have never dealt wit King Hickory so I can't give an opinion on them.

Thank you! This is great info since the one sold is actually a newer Henkel Harris in the current catalog. I know Drexel and henredon moved production to China, now HH has gone under. Who else makes good heirloom furniture?

Elite, do you know who sells good sofa? I have a sofa from California leather craft, a local company that has gone under. The microfiber covered sofa lasted me 15 years with still good bone. If my kids didn't destroyed the cushions from constantly jumping on them and breaking the zippers (each cushion has a zipper to stay in place with the frame), it could have probably lasted another 10 years. Anyway, time for a new one but no idea who is good on the west coast..

Depending on your price range & style Sherrill, Wesley Hall, Taylor King for a more mid line CR Laine, Huntington House, ; leather Bradington Young, Leathercraft. Contemporary Precedent, Elite Leather

I am looking for good value and transitional style. So simple but not as straight and angular (if that makes sense) as mid century modern.
