Do you have a photo? I guess the bottom line is.... anything can be done. You just have to call a pro and they will blow your mind with what they can do. Your cost will be higher on a slope.

If there is some odd concern about building on your slope specifically (soil type, accessibility, etc.), the pro will tell you. Call a builder out to take a look. My parents built a pool into a steep slope. They had to do a pretty pricey retaining wall to do it, and bring in soil.

Thank you. I'll have to add that to what I consider in a final design. perhaps there will be a storage space that can be created for the pool furniture and garden tools.

You are describing a huge project so you should hire an architect. Maybe before you do that, find out if code will even allow extra dwellings on your property.

I live in Mexico and the codes allow for most any project especially as I'm in the country side. I definitely need a good architect and although there are many here, I thought of seeing if any in the USA would like to come to San Miguel de Allende and at least bid for the architectural drawings. it will be so important to have someone who I can talk to that understands some of the standards in the USA I'd want to implement here.

This is really beyond our scope of help you need an architect they need to know about your building codes in your area and really need to have a big discussion
