However, anyone who believes Beacon is a (ahem!) "special" place MUST watch the new sci-fi comedy about extraterrestrials: "People of Earth" on TBS Mondays at 9 pm. It's based in a faux Beacon and is funny as all get-out. I caught it last night after the last of the Trick-or-treaters were gone and I must say, although it is filmed in Canada, it manages to capture some of the wackiness that exists in our own Hudson Valley City of Beacon. Check your local listings.
