Fall Orchid sales in New England

There are a few folks on the forum who grow or have interest in orchids and October provides 2 excellent opportunities for orchid sales in Massachusetts. I'll be at both sales which offer the best variety I've found locally.

Not in the same league, but well priced: Mahoneys in Winchester MA has a new shipment of orchids at 33 % off. I don't know if experienced orchid owners would find much to interest them but I enjoyed browsing and choosing some lovelies. I always enjoy finding three stemmed plants priced the same as the two stemmed ones and comparing the bud counts.

Mahoney's is the site for the MOS annual show and sale so they may be selling off what they have in advance of the show in a couple weeks. They typically only sell phalaenopsis but I'd be curious to see what else they have.

Happy to post photos, but I'm not sure I'll be able to identify everything as I'm still a novice! I've only really gotten into orchids over the past 2 years.

The ones I love are small flowered and floriferous : very dark purple, or yellow or mahogony with speckles. The mahogany is fragrant. My description doesn't sound flattering, but it is an elegant plant.
