Is acrylic a heavy or light material?

I want the tub to be heavy so it's not movable after it's in place.

How heavy is this item?

Hello urquidinc,

Acrylic can be lightweight or heavy, depending on its density. This tub weighs approximately 150 lbs. However, the tub’s weight shouldn’t be a huge concern if you’re just worried about it moving. The reason why is because the tub is sealed and caulked to the floor as part of the installation process. It won’t be able to move once installed because it will be affixed to the floor. We have included a link below to the manufacturer’s installation guide for the tub in case you’d like to know more about the process. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
