With all that pine, I'd go for a contrast, something like the Salon Duterra.

I don't think so because I think you need a contrast so you don't feel swamped by the same color on three sides.

My house has pine floors and ceilings, not even the walls, and I LOVE wood, but even I found it so oppressive. I combatted the oppression by painting the crown moulding in the living room and painting the ceilings in the kitchen and master bathroom and bedroom (while leaving the beams unpainted in both kitchen and bedroom). I think mitigating all that wood is a good idea.

I think a lighter shade would be better. Dark shows so much, even a tiny bit of lint shows.

I am torn between the Cork deco line and the Cork canvas line. The deco looks more like a cork pattern whereas the canvas looks like wood planks. I am going with one of these as they have beveled edges and I like that look.

Still not sure about light vs dark. different opinions.

My walls and ceiling are similar to this pic but my ceiling is more of a tongue groove pine without knots. i will take a pic of my home and post. In the interim here is similar wall look

Have you considered painting either the walls (but not that one!) or ceilings to lighten up the place? So much wood is so heavy.

No. I briefly considered whitewash but really do not want to go that route. I grew up with paint and now love the wood look in my little bit of paradise.

Lol. I just redid my kitchen and had wood countertops put in. I love wood counters in kitchens.

Hmmm...I was just looking at the two styles and the colors. Not really focusing right now. I'll look at them more closely in the morning. Can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm thinking I like the Deco in the white! Huh?

Thought white would offset walls but would show every bit of dirt!

I live on a farm with a dog who tracks in alot of stuff so I thought darker but don't want to feel overwhelmed with darkness.

I'll offer a different opinion. I would go with your first cork choice IF it is close to the wall color, as it seems it may be. I personally would NOT want a contrast, i.e., introducing yet another element to the room, but then would add color, texture and possibly pattern with area rugs. Although I would paint the ceiling. I have original 50's pine paneling in my office. Everyone says to paint it, but I would never consider that as the pine is so warm and cozy.
