I found the perfect rug for my foyer, but the trick is determining the right size. A runner is too skinny - 4x6 is a little too small - because if it is centered in the space, only part of both pieces of furniture sit on it, and 5x8 almost maximizes the width. Foyer is about 5 1/2 feet wide x 12 1/2 feet long. We also don't love the floor, so covering more vs less is ideal! Thoughts?
