How would I learn more about this design , dimensions, etc.

I would like to work with you to revise the plan to create my dream cottage for a lot I am buying in Maryland. I want a second story but still have the great room open to the cathedral ceiling. The width should be a maximu, of say, 36 or so feet, which this looks to be. I love the clean, simple lines and brightness. Thank you. Candy McCaslin
