I went to the Fair in the evening and the first place I went was the Gardening area. But since the rest of the family was not interested in it as much as me, I did not spend a lot of time there. The whole area looked nicely landscaped and there were lots of interesting plants. I had wanted to enter a few competitions myself, but couldn't take off from work - maybe next year..
The small garden "plots" were interesting with their themes and looked like a lot of work had been put in them. The greenhouse/shed with some carnivorous plants was also interesting, along with other potted plants and competition winners.
And the usual mums displays were spectacular. I think wral might have a slideshow somewhere.
I wanted to go back during the daytime, but couldnt find the time.

I like the theme garden area the best, always try to get new ideas from them. i could hang out in that area for hours.

I haven't been in a few years but the garden area has always been the best part of going to me. it looks like John done a great job from the pictures i have seen. maybe next year.
