Sorry for the delay in answering your question. This is a wood burning fireplace that was converted to gas. It probably took two sets of logs to achieve this look. I am not sure. We went to our local fireplace store, showed them a photo of the empty fireplace, gave them the dimensions and picked logs and sand that worked with our design. They did the conversions and worked out how much material they needed to fill the space. I hope this helps.
