What color gray for my famiy room walls?

I am having a difficult time finding the right shade of gray that goes with my couch. The one on the wall does not go. Pictures above fireplace are temporary. Should I paint the large coffee table base and if so, what color? My fireplace is marble subway tile.

Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter HC-172 is one of our favorites.
It is a good neutral gray which does not have the blue undertone you get with many grays.

I am not sure what color, but you room is very pretty. Love the blue couch and your rug.

The rug looks great choose a gray from it for the walls I find RP too brown

I have Revere Pewter in LR & bedroom. In one room it's grey, in the other it's more brown. It is beautiful with blue. I have a blue couch. The colour changes depending on the light.

How much light you have in the room is very important to paint colors. Is the rug driving the gray wall desire? I find the grays depressing. Also, I wouldn't paint the base of your coffee table. It has nice texture and you need some of that and some contrast so leave that as is. With the fireplace marble and your modern vibe, I would be inclined to go with a white that coordinates with your fireplace and picks up the light color from your rug then add a few pillows with the white and some texture like fur or feathers on your sofa.
