Hi experts,

Prospective owner of a new construction in NC, may be
closing in 3 weeks if everything works out well. I have made initial deposit of
$21K towards the home price of $575K. I am not happy with the way the
construction is going on. It’s been one after another since Feb 2016. I have
been complaining with the site project manger about the grading of my yard. Yesterday,
I noticed that grass has been put without changing the grading. I had it enough
with this builder. Question is there any document that I could request from the
builder to check the grading? Also I am considering pulling off the contract and let go of
my deposit. Very stressed with the events with the construction. Looks like my realtor gets convinced with what ever the builder suggests or does. Please advice. Thank you
