New kitchen

I plan on using polished chrome pulls and knobs, refrigerator and dishwasher will be panel ready with polished chrome hardware.
Double oven, cooktop, microwave, and sink stainless steel.
My dilemma is this...would it be a design error to use brushed finish on my pendants over the island along with lighting over my dining table.
Any advice would be appreciated.

I mix and match metal finishes all the time. It really depends on the overall look you want. Can you post some pictures?

I actually like the mix of shiny and matte finishes for a little interest I will however mention chrome handles are a b---h to keep clean and show everyfinger print you think stainless is bad this is stainless on steroids
