"Indoor"/Outdoor pool

Hello - I'm looking for guidance/suggestions on our unique situation. We are building a house and we are using a portion of our open out basement to create an "indoor"/outdoor pool. The portion that will contain the pool will be completely open to the backyard - no backwall. The pool will start in this area and go outside. So it's more of an alcove rather than an indoor pool. It will have 2 side walls, a backwall and a ceiling. The ceiling will be the floor of our upstairs mudroom. One of the side walls will be the wall to the indoor portion of the lower level and will have a slider door so we can get from the inside to the pool alcove. In addition we are piping the pool equipment through the basement floor to the other side of the lower level where the equipment will be located in a workshop right next to a door to the outside on that side of the house.
With that description - I'm looking for any guidance/suggestions. We are wondering how much (if any?) dehumidification we'll need in the alcove and/or airflow. I'm concerned about corrosion of the sliding door. I'm concerned about condensation on the ceiling as well. Given the pool equipment is inside are there any watch outs there?
