I think it is a straight forward Sansevieria Trifasciata

This looks like Sansevieria trifasciata, those new leaves are beautiful. Propagated leaf cuttings will produce this same plant.

S. trifasciata 'Laurentii' is this plant with wide yellow borders, another one well worth growing. Leaf cuttings of it will produce only trifasciata without the colored margins.

It's a lot bigger and more silver than my other plain trifasciata.

The new leaves on this sans look like normal silvery leaves of trifasciata, it is obviously a very robust plant. The species can grow to 5 feet high but more normal would be around 3 feet. Have your two sans been grown in different conditions? Must be something about your smaller one that is holding it back.

Ok now I'm just going to have to put some in the bed with the other trifasciatas and see what happens. I may have to sub out the old wimpy ones for these.

I had taken these out of a fairly old neglected pot. So they were just divided this past summer.

Sounds like a plan! Obviously the division and repot from the neglected bunch produced some very vigorous and beautiful growth. Many folks wouldn't bother growing this common sans species, but you've demonstrated they're still worth having in the home or garden.

So my others are from leaf cuttings of 'Laurentii'. I wonder if the reversion on that is just a weaker set of genetics than a straight species? Because I distinctly remember this being a species purchase.

Another reason to grow them, at least out here, is the bloom. We have a line of Laurentii that's like 10 feet x 1 foot along one side of the patio sectional. My wife has been sitting next to it just going on about some fragrance. I was one the other side of the sectional and my allergies are not helping, so I couldn't smell anything. I slide over to sit next to her and the fragrance was quite strong. She asked, "where is this coming from"? I looked to my left and laughed. It was the Laurentii. It has been filled with blooms for a week or two.
