Very definitely a weed and almost impossible to get rid of.

The low groundcover potentilla, Lars? I know some of the species are weedy, and even invasive, but my experience with the groundcover has always been that it needed babying just to keep the patch going.

At my house it's a weed, but a reasonably attractive one.

I never considered it a weed when I had it. I love it. I am in a hot dry valley though. Maybe that slowed it down.

For me, it grows where I am trying to grow other things, such as herbs and bromeliads, and it climbs all over them.

It's growing against the outside of a raised vegetable bed. If it doesn't spread into the bed, I guess I'll leave it be. I don't remember it flowering, but maybe I didn't notice in the spring.
