Love the chairs. Where are they from?

I am looking for white swivel counter-height chairs with upholstered seats. These really fit the bill! Where can I order them?

Try ballarddesigns.com. I've seen some white swivel stools there similar to these, with lots of fabric choices or COM.

I'm thinking about doing my kitchen with white cabinets and light countertop! I have 5 children---please tell me your opinion. Is is durable and easy to maintain. I think it's beautiful!!!

Did an island that big require a seam? We are building and was told my 5'6 ft (67.2 inches) x 8 ft ( 96 inches) island would require a noticeable seam. We are wanting a white island and while cabinets but now I am not sure bc of a seam.

How did your island turn out? We are facing a similar problem with a large island and can't decide on a material for fear of "the seam."

It turned out great! We went with blizzard white Quartz. You can barely see the seam. I hope this helps.
