You are not exactly comparing apples to apples. Mouser is the class of the brands you mentioned. I suggest either Brookhaven, Ultracraft or the Vantage line from Kraftmaid depending on the cabinet construction you feel is best for your project.

Thank you for the tip Jeff Kida. I really do love the Mouser but our budget doesn't look like we can afford the Mouser. I just looked at the other lines you mentioned. Like the clean looks of them. Will have to ask the KD if he carries them. I know he mentioned Haas and Kitchen Craft in the list of cabinets they carry, and was leaning towards the Haas.

Kathi, sounds like your remodel was to die for. But where I live (small town in the mid west) custom is pretty high. Have gone to several places and it looks like semi-custom is probably the way we're going to go.

I used a cabinet maker from Tipton Indiana. Pretty small!

It will behoove you to make a list of everything you want to do and the approximate cost involved. You may be surprised!

Look into this more at cabinet shops as they have to be out there cheaper or if not the quality is way better that will last through out living at your home. A cabinet shop in your area can give your results and there if something goes wrong, The cabinets you are going to buy will not give much of a warranty as a local will. Just saying, yes might be a little higher in price but worth it. You get what you buy!!!

Went to another kitchen designer place and liked what we saw. Going back next week to decide about the cabinets. We just may do a mix of custom and semi-custom. Really getting excited at the possibilities.
