Hello,

here is an update on my Sans. collection, installed on south facing shelves. I tried to group them by families (futura, hahnii ...) and to place the fussy ones higher in order to keep them at a high temp this winter.

Most of my plants are young, I anticipated their growth by taking big shelves, and I have another south facing window in my flat if necessary in the future.

Here is the full setup, they have direct sun a few hours per day in autumn/winter. It's not very hot at this time of the year. In summer the sun doesn't touch them but it provides a vey bright light.

The first Hahnii shelf, I placed here the most fragile ones, they are high in the room and the temp. won't go under 21°C (70 F).

The spiky ones (kirky, gracilis, francisii, ballyi ...).

My nursery, I put the leaf cuttings on a heating mat with a thermostat, I keep them at 25°C (77 F). The clay balls are here to act as a thermal inertia mass.

Parva, a Twisted sister, a little Silver Princess and Concinna are grouped here.

My Masoniana (it's preparing a new set of leaves, we can see the tip) with leaf cuttings. I bought the Whitney on eBay, it was labelled "Sans. sp) and very cheap !

The Futura seem happy, my Robusta sprouted two pups a few days ago and they are growing at a fast pace.

And last but not least, my plain old S. Trifasciata with many new leaves grown this summer. I hope next year it will make a dense bunch. It blocks the sunlight when I'm watching TV on the sofa.
