Help with color matching paint in this photo

Hello, New to the discussion forum here. Would anyone happen to have a good eye for color matching the three (3) paint colors in this photo? I typically buy my paint from HD (Behr) and have haven't been very successful grabbing color samples then sneaking up the house to compare. Any guidance from and experience with this type of color scheme would be greatly appreciated.

Benjamin Moore has an app on your phone that will color match a photo and give you a close idea of colors

Hope you get some answers on this and am guessing the colors you are speaking of are the white, gray and melon? I used to mix paint for a living and we could "shoot" the color to be matched in a machine that calculated a formula from a paint sample, though the sample had to be a solid color and at least the size of a quarter. The colors in your photo vary due to sun/shade. It would be great if you could find color samples at any store that mixes paint and choose the closest to the colors in the photo. Some stores can do what I stated above about "shooting the color" and others can mix competitors paint products.

Thanks for the comments every. I live in SoCal so just about every single paint store has the ability to color match a sample. Unfortunately, I don't own this house so I'm unable to steal a piece of wood and have it matched.

I do have the Dunn Edwards app and it keeps pulling me towards a pastel "pink" colors but standing there is looks more "retro" red or cherry. It has a more powerful color to it.

The search continues.

The colors are so nice I bet the owners are used to being asked. If they are in your neighborhood just knock on the door and ask. Or leave a note asking if they would share the colors.

is this that house in Long Beach that the couple flipped?? love that house. close to this Persimmon shade with a tad of coral added to it. you could always reach out to them and ask what paint they used.

Beth H. Thank you... It's the house on Cherry Ave just south of 4th. I'm sure it's the same one. I've left my biz card and no response so I'm assuming they are now sick and tired of people asking for the color. Thank you... I think I now have enough to start my project.

I'd paint everything that's not the door dark gray. All the orange accents are too busy.

A trick that works well for this: upload the photo to a browser eyedropper like colorpicker.cx/color-picker, click the trim/body/door areas and write down the HEX codes. Then take those codes to the paint store — Behr/Sherwin can match from HEX, or you can search the HEX plus "paint match" to find the closest named colors. One caveat: photos shift with lighting, so sample a few spots in shade and in sun and average them out.
