Lights over kitchen island

Hi - wondering if anyone has seen lighting like this?
Want to buy a new piece for over kitchen island - and will have electrician install. But wasn't sure what to buy given the current setup?
There's this piece in picture #1 and then it connects through wires in picture #2
Any suggestions on what would be easiest here?
