Mount the tv on the wall over the sofa, and move the chairs to the window wall. (Yes, it means one sofa will not be in sofa range.)

They are quite a bit taller than the sofas, but I am not sure if this is the issue. They just look awkward in their current position. You will need to rearrange the furniture. Can you switch the chairs and one of the sofas to see if that is better.

This room is going to be stunning. As advised, I'd pull the couch on the window wall away from the window and center it on the wall. I would push your two leather chairs back and allow this entire space to be your living room. Have you looked for a rug yet to anchor the space?

Although we can't see the wall with the couch and ottoman, perhaps that couch's placement could mirror the other couch. Will you be using the ottoman? Do you have matching or complimentary fabric?

When you've added artwork, side tables, and curtains, it will all come together. I recently bought two slip-covered club chairs, and it took a while for me to get used to them. Now, I can't imagine the room without them. Your leather chairs are very handsome.

Nice chairs like that will last forever. I suggest you try at least a couple of different arrangements with your furniture, maybe on paper first. Then buy a large rug to hold all your furniture, or at least the front half of all your furniture. This will establish the "living room" space. Window treatments, art and a few accessories will complete your beautiful room.

Have you tried switching the 2 chairs position for one of the couches? I might try it by moving the couch that's to the right of the tv. The chairs are taller and might help obscure the air conditioner unit. Just a thought.

They are gorgeous! Yes -they can work, Yes -keep them both and No -they are not too tall.

I think the main problem is not scale but the fact that they're floating in space and not anchored to the room or the sofas. I would switch the 2 chairs location with the couch that is to the left of the t.v. Then, get a large rug to anchor the sitting area together. I would also add throw pillows with similar color of the chairs for the couch. Then, get two cream lumbar throw pillows for the chairs. Then, to balance the height in the room, get a floor lamp to place next to the couch across from the two chairs. For the floor lamp get something with wood legs/base to pull the tones of the chairs over to the right side of the room. (Jeez, I hope I don't sound too specific and crazy -haha!)

Have you tried putting them in the far left corner on an angle to each other, with a tiny table in between? It could be more of an intimate spot to have a cup of tea or play a board game with a friend....

I think the TV is in the wrong place, but there aren't enough pix of all walls.

As pennydesign said, move the chairs into that back left corner for conversation, tea, table games...

Put the TV on the wall left of the hallway entry as seen from inside the TV room.

Build rad cover/table tops and float one of the sofas out in front of them, perp to the two side windows. Maybe you can top the rad "tables" with lamps.
Move this sofa left and center it on this wall.

Perhaps pull the sofas out a little farther from the TV and place the arm chairs on either side of the TV in that space. That would open up the room and make it more welcoming.

You could also hang a picture or a painting directly across from the entrance to the room. That way when you are walking towards/into the room you don't see a blank wall.

Houzz needs to fix their "design dilemmas" area, at least for an iPad. When I click on one, I get all the comments but not the original picture. Instead, at the top is an annoying ad that changes each time you go to the particular "design dilemma."

What bothers me most is that the couches are in front of the windows. Can you move each one down from the window...leave chairs where they are or pull back a little. Then a floor lamp, chairside size tables with lamps at one end of each couch. The I would get sheer curtains for the windows. A plant or two around will make it homey...Some colorful art that you love could be centered over the couchs.
