This room is right off the kitchen which is adjacent to the family room. When you enter the house you look straight through the foyer into the kitchen and straight into this room. It is front and center but has never been decorated properly. I don't have a large budget and do a lot of DIY.

I just repainted the room beige and bought new pillows for the settee. A pale blue bottom cushion is on order. I need to use this as an office as well. I think some artwork is needed above the sliding glass door and above the windows on the wall where the clock is. I also was thinking some sheers on the windows to soften it up. But now i think maybe i should add fabric to the top of the sheers and put the rod all the way at the top where it meets the ceiling. What do you think of that idea? I still have to refinish the table and I think another chair and table may be needed.

The ceiling is a greenish blue color and that turquoise color is the theme. Advice on how to make this more inviting? And that little plant on the table is a Fiddle Leaf Fig meant for the room, too. Thanks!
