Those are some pretty beans. I like the bi-colored cowpeas & yardlong beans (they have generally done well in my Northern location) but if my info is correct, you may also get solid black, gray, or tan (and possibly other combinations).

Referring to the 2016 SSE Yearbook, I note that all of the growers of "Mayo Colima" seem to be in hot, long-season areas... so this cowpea is not a promising prospect for my climate. The descriptions of seed colors vary from yours, so growers may be isolating particular colors out of the original land race.

There is also a "Mayo Speckled" listed, which could be a related selection. It too is only carried by growers in hot climates.

Thanks! I planted brown, speckled grey, half grey, tan & white and maybe some with some black. I'm not isolating Out colors, the mix is neat.

They're a Sonoran desert landrace, which is probably why all the people are in hot areas. I gotta say, I was really impressed that they didn't die in our record hot summer. I don't see why they wouldn't be fine in your climate, they might be worth a try!
