Thermometer/Humidity Won't Work

I have a thermometer for humidity and temperature to use in the greenhouse. It works fine in the house but when I take it to the greenhouse it goes blank like it needs a battery. I changed the battery and it had moisture inside so I dried it with my hairdryer and it worked fine so I left it in the greenhouse. When I went back to check it was not working again. Any ideas? Too much moisture there?

The thermometer is now working. Guess it was just damp from my watering. I left it in the house overnight then tried it again and it has been working fine all day.

Was the thermometer colder than the greenhouse when you moved it. The only thing I can think of is if the unit was cold and you put it in a warm humid room you would get condensation.

Don't think so because the greenhouse is built on to the back of my house and the door is usually ajar so the cats can go in and out. After I posted last I noticed it wasn' t working again so I brought it inside and it immediately started working.

Hi,

What is the temperature in your greenhouse, lcd screens don't wok well or not at all at low temperatures, just try it in your fridge 5-7 degrees C
