What can I do for this plant?

I think it's a Carpobrotus. The leaves of this plant are green but they were painted.

Should I cut that leaf ?, How can I do this without hurting the plant? Why leaves shrivel like that?

leave it alone...

it seems to be putting out new leaves ... so its feeding itself ...

all plants lose old leaves sooner or later ... and the paint will just speed that up a bit.. the shriveling is just part of that ... it will eventually dry.. encapsulate.. and fall off ...

i would not go cutting a big wound into it.. and hoping it will heal.. maybe it will.. maybe it wont.. why risk it ...

i dont understand its setting.. is that a wall.. of just something for the picture ..

maybe there are different rules for this type of plant .. my comments are just general in nature ... so keep them in mind for other plants ... i will stand corrected if someone says otherwise ...

Ponny, is the plant wilted....bone dry? Even succulents require a big glug of water every once in awhile.

Tell me about this plant. How did it end up with this layer of paint?

I received it as a gift. The person who gave it to me told me it was an Aloe Vera and that was her natural color. I was not satisfied with this description and get help on this page. That's how I knew It could be a Carpobrotus.

Succulents may also shrivel when too wet, due to root loss. If this plant is outdoors, are you in a suitable climate area for it?

They are in my window, usually have the sunlight from 7:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m and when it gets dark, I close the window

i have some vague notion.. he's in mexico ...

was it recently transplanted???? .. obviously its not next to the wall i asked about ... we can help you a lot more.. if you answer all the questions asked ....

A week ago. At first it was in a small pot and began to shrivel, so I put it together with my other plants to see if it improved.
