What color wall will look good with these cabinets?

I'm so indecisive.... I have cherry color cabinets, and white granite countertops. I'm not too sure what color would look good with this. Can anyone suggest a nice color for the wall?

Thanks!

I chose these colors for the living room, if that helps...

And I was thinking of this in the kitchen with the cabinets. But I'm very unsure

what about the green/blue next to tv wall color? or the 2 above the blue, I think the ice green will be too pastel with your cabinets, or I love wythe blue it is a fabulous color

That green has a lot of yellow in it, and may not work with your reddish cabinets. The blues in your living room are very bright and seem more suited to a casual beachy house rather than one with your traditional cherry cabinets. I would look at more muted shades of the blues and greens if that is the direction you want to go. SW Rainwashed is a muted blueish green that you may to be able to use in all the spaces, or try SW SeaSalt for a muted green in your kitchen and look for coordinating blues in your other room.

I am assuming you are doing a white back splash in the kitchen.

i see why you are leaning toward green, but it is the wrong green, IMO. To balance those other blues and work with the cherry cabinets, try a green that is a bit smokey.

    Aww you guys are amazing.

I see what u mean about the green I like. It def might be on the bright side, with the other colors I chose for the living room next door. I can see this sleigh bell work well with the cabinets.

So I'll def lean towards that color. Sleigh bell. Thank you, so much u guys! Never thought it would be so difficult to choose colors before. Ugh. Thank god for this app!

Honestly I'm not exactly sure for the backsplash, I was thinking along the brown family for the baskspalsh. Just not too sure. I went to home depo- but I didn't see anything to catch my eyes.

I would do a light grey

And now that I checked the color pallets again, u do really like that wythe blue. Perhaps that's what I'll choose. Now that I look at it it will work well with the cabinets

That's what I'm getting from everyone. I like that idea. More nutral color, since the living room will be bright.

I think I'll go with the MIA whythe blue.

What do u guys think?? Do I see this going well with the kitchen cabinets?

Oh man really??? I'm so frustrated. Lol. I really want two colors for the living room, only because look at my floors... they are two different colors. They are tile floors. Lol.

I'm going to stick to the two blues in the living room and then the Wyth blue for the kitchen. The color will make the cabinets pop I believe.

Holy Moly - the last thing you need on your walls with this floor is two paint colors! One light gray is all you need. If you want blues, bring those in with pillows and accessories.

I agree with Flo, those floors are amazing and need to be the star, the wyethe blue is beautiful and I would use throughout, and will give you the color you love and complement all your beutiful elements.

Really?!? I thought it would look good. Those blues look good to me, with those floors. now you think it's not?! Ugh. I'm so bad with this!!

I really wish I got this all figured out.

Those two blues match well together, and I thought it would put the colors on the floor together

So you guys say stick to one color, only. The whythe blue for the living room And the kitchen too?? It's a very small apartment. Only three little rooms.

How about both the kitchen and living room the whyth blue, but in the living room, our tv wall we can have this color to break it up that's attached.

    That guilford green??

I think wythe blue is going to look very dark with all your other dark elements in the kitchen. Get a small sample of the BM Sleigh Bells that Flo suggested, and also Pallidian Blue and Wythe Blue. Try them next to the cabinets and also next to your wood floors. If you want a different color for the kitchen, try a neutral like Elmira White and then use one of these muted blues in the living area.

Rosanna, my best advice is to listen to the pros. I for one would use one colour throughout. Especially in a small space, doing make it choppy by breaking it up too much. Add colour with cushions and accents. Easily changed when you get tired of the colour!

The smaller the space the more uniform things need to be to keep a good cohesive look. Between your floor, which is very "busy" and your furnishings and accessories and art on the wall and drapery, etc. Keep your "background" calm and quiet. Then you can jazz up other things and when you tire of them you can change them. Of course, you will probably also be looking for some type of rug as well, so keep it simple, especially in a small space. Wythe Blue is even a lot of color, you might consider one shade lighter which is Palladian Blue HC-144. I think that with white ceilings would be really nice with everything.

Okay. I will try ur suggestions. I'm going to go tomorrow and pick up a few of these colors and see what it will be.

In the bedroom I'm only doing one color( winter grey BM) and the kitchen I wanted to do one color. The reason I wanted to do two colors in be living room, is that there is a hallway, once u walk in, that is also my tv wall. so I wanted to break it up a little. And do something different. I also came along these two colors.

I'd like to try these as well. I think it work out good too In the living room, no? Worh a shot.

I appreciate everyone's amazing opinions as I've never did this before, nor even owned my own apartment before. It's all new to me, and I didn't realize how difficult this process will be. I'm going to get every sample and try it all out and see which will work best. I'll keep you all posted within the next day or two!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!
