Wow! You did the whitewashing yourself? Hats off to you. A couple of years ago we re-roofed and painted the exterior of our house. My husband wanted to DIY one of them. Being 62 years old, I picked the painting. Hired a roofer and after the roof was done, I told my husband, "I lied!" Hired a painting contractor.

Yes, I did each brick all by myself. If you follow the Flippy House page you'll see I'm still working on the MONGO wall in the back and saving the tall chimney for the Spring! Thank you!

Kelly, I LOVE this transformation. Can you share with me what paint and materials you used for this. If you check out my page, you'll see my current design dilemma. People (family and friends) have been encouraging me to keep the orange brick exterior on my home but I really hate it and want a cream or grey color like yours. Please help me! Thanks

Jalisa_mcc: You commented on my page and asked about my brick technique. If you go to Facebook and look up my "Flippy House" page, in the videos I have a very good tutorial of how I did my brick and exactly what paint I used and brushes and color.
Orange brick may be hard to work with. It's not the most appealing brick color to me but it could be beautiful if just changed in a couple ways. Here are a couple pics I found and ideas you could do. One is doing sort of a white smear over some of the brivks and changing maybe just your front door color to the lighter egg blue and the other 2 I like using ur existing orange and highlighting with more black.
