That's right. I remember reading they acquired CGI.

What I'm really trying to find out is if there are any significant differences in their single hung vinyl wind impact windows between the two companies.

Not certain on that cpartist. I will ask around if I can find someone. Unfortunately Fla. and impact product in general is not well represented by window pros here on the forum.

Great windows, but horrible warranty service - Been waiting for over 2 months to replace 1 piece of weather stripping. When it rained with the windows closed it flooded my lani . Had to move my lani furniture, including rug and pad. I am 76 years old, had to do it myself and hurt my back. They did send stripping to the contractor, but wrong type. The company is so arrogant that they call and tell you what day and time, so you have to rearrange you schedule to fit their schedule. Does not matter if you have waited 6 months for an important Dr. appt, if you are not at home it could me 1 month or more until they will TELL you when the next appopint is scheduled.
